Reflection of Feedback:

I received mostly positive reviews on my original elevator pitch. They said that I had a great vision and a really good pitch. The feedback that I received about improving my pitch was that I should show more energy and excitement and I should talk louder. These are both easy fixes and things I plan on refining on my second pitch.

What did you change, based on the feedback?

I tried to improve my energy level by making sure I was upbeat and excited during the entire pitch. I kept my volume at a high level in order for my audience to hear my pitch clearly. Also, I added a few lines at the end of my pitch in order to form a connection to my customers. I did this so they were aware of the importance of this idea and to show them how they can make a difference in the world through my product.

  1. Hey James!
I am glad you took what people said as the advice it has really helped. It made me stay focused the whole time, your inflection in your voice was good and just the right pitch. The only take away is that you jumped into your pitch without a little hook or story so possibly maybe incorporating that in next time it would be spot on. Overall great job.

  2. Hi James great elevator pitch. I am glad you worked on the few minor changes to perfect your pitch. This proves that by showing and giving feedback it helps you to be a better version of yourself and improve your business as well. I liked how you also made a connection to the customer and how they would be able to benefit out of it and you elaborated on it much more.

  3. Hey there James! Great elevator pitch! I thought you did a great job presenting yourself both professionally and intelligently. I believe that your idea really appeals to most people's sense of ethics and what is important to take action on. Marketing your product in context of the energy crisis will truly get more consumers to listen and take action in either considering your product further or actually going ahead and purchasing it.
